Dr. Thomas Gilbert Amason Jr., who has enjoyed being a member of the Krewe for more than 30 years, will reign as the King at the 49th Beaux Arts Krewe Ball benefiting the Birmingham Museum of Art on Feb 5 at Boutwell Auditorium.
The Krewe members only learned the King’s identity Jan. 11 at the annual luncheon at the Birmingham Museum of Art.
